The idea for the DeepBlu Project Roadshow came about when a group of friends realized they shared a passion for discussing the latest trends and ideas in their field. They decided to start a podcast to share their insights and knowledge with the world and now they are bringing it to you LIVE!
The DeepBlu Roadshow is an event that will provide you with a conference-like presentation format for a one or two-day program, schedule speakers based on your requests, and provide your audience with a seamless day of training and engagement. Speakers are scheduled to attend based on their availability and will provide a 1-2 hour presentation on their specialties and the focus of the program as determined by the client.
Clients will be responsible for securing the venue for the event, and there is no limit to the number of participants a client can register for the event.
NOTE: Speakers are not employees of the DeepBlu Project and are subject matter professionals who are scheduled when time is permitted. If you wish to reach out to them individually there is a link to their personal pages under their bio.
Our mission is to provide our listeners with engaging and thought-provoking content related to PTSD, Police Officer Suicide, Occupational Trauma, and Overall Officer Health and Wellness, We want to spark discussions and inspire our audience to think outside the box.
The DeepBlu Project Roadshow will be a one or two-day program with subject matter experts along with current and former first responders who lead the conversation about law enforcement and first responders' mental health and trauma recovery.

Chris hosts the DeepBlu Project and delivers his presentations "You Have Had This A Long Time" and "Cleaning out your Mental Closet" based on his podcast episode where he talks about the importance of wellness and self-awareness in the law enforcement profession. He discusses the mental and emotional challenges that come with the job and emphasizes the need for officers to take care of their mental health
He brings 30 years of First Responder experience and holds a B.S. in Behavioral Science and A.A.S. in Criminal Justice.

Ernie spent over 28 years in law enforcement helping develop new programs and policies for the San Antonio Police Department, and worked as a program manager for the Southwest Texas Regional Advisory Council that oversees emergency operations for 22 counties in Texas.
He was featured in the Emmy Award–winning documentary Ernie and Joe: Crisis Cops and has also wrote Mental Health and De-Escalation: A Guide for Law Enforcement Professionals.
Ernie brings his knowledge and experience to the DeepBlu Roadshow with a polarizing and engaging conversation on how we as first responders deal with mental health crisis on and off the job.
John is fourth generation police officer, who seeks to take a self-reflective, classically guided, culturally literate, and irenically toned approach to service and leadership. John brings his unique vision to the group and provides a discussion on a myriad of subjects, from recruiting & retention, enhancing the policing profession and much more.
His goal is to ensure his agency and those around him deliver the appropriate spectrum of public safety services, with a tone and character consistent with the expectations of the community they serve. He does not believe any police department should attempt to do everything - we should rather do the right things, exceptionally well.

On July 17, 2024 he was named the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the newly formed Excellence in Policing and Public Safety Program at the University of South Carolina’s School of Law
Vin Scotto is a (ret.)NYPD Supervisor with 20 years of police experience in one of the busiest cities in the nation.
Vin uses his own unique brand of humor and "matter of fact" presentation that expands on his his career in law enforcement and the subsequent challenges that followed beyond the badge.
Through his presentation he shows a "vulnerability" that aids in opening lines of communication that is meant to break down that proverbial "blue wall of silence", leading to the opportunity for others to build their own personal wellness plan as well as acquire the skills for a more resilient and healthier lifestyle.
